中國香港獨木舟總會 通告
事由：熱帶氣旋逼近香港之水上活動安全提示及課程安排
致：各屬會主席／負責人、教練、學員及獨木舟運動愛好者
根據香港天文台最新預測，熱帶氣旋正逐漸逼近香港，天文台考慮於較後時間發出 一號戒備信號。
為保障所有獨木舟運動參與者之人身安全，本會特此呼籲各屬會、教練及水上活動人士切實注意以下事項：
一、 密切留意最新氣象資訊
請各屬會及水上活動人士時刻保持警惕，透過香港天文台網頁、流動應用程式（MyObservatory）或傳媒廣播，密切留意熱帶氣旋的最新動向及天氣預報。
二、 惡劣天氣安全指引及活動安排
強烈季候風信號 / 一號戒備信號生效期間：
教練及參加者應因應現場實際環境、風浪情況及中心的支援系統（如救生艇及通訊設備）進行嚴格的安全評估。在確保絕對安全的前提下，僅可進行近岸活動。詳情請參閱本會《獨木舟運動安全須知》及相關安全指引。
三號強風信號（或更高信號）生效：
所有水上活動必須立即停止。 正在水面划行之人士應儘快且安全地返回岸上，並將獨木舟及相關裝備妥善固定於安全地點。
三、 訓練課程延期及補課安排
若訓練課程因是次熱帶氣旋影響而需中斷或取消，本會將另行通知相關課程的延期及補課安排，請各學員密切留意本會後續公告。
安全至上，請各屬會負責人及教練切實執行上述安排，並即時傳達予所屬會員及學員。

Subject: Safety Guidelines and Course Arrangements for Water Sports Operations During Approaching Tropical Cyclone
To: Presidents / Persons-in-Charge of Affiliate Clubs, Coaches, Students, and Canoeing Enthusiasts
According to the latest forecast by the Hong Kong Observatory, a tropical cyclone is approaching Hong Kong, and the Observatory is considering issuing the Standby Signal No. 1 later.
To ensure the safety of all canoeing participants, We hereby strongly advises all affiliate clubs, coaches, and water sports enthusiasts to adhere strictly to the following measures:
All member clubs and participants are urged to stay vigilant and closely monitor the latest movement of the tropical cyclone and weather forecasts via the Hong Kong Observatory website, mobile app (“MyObservatory”), or media broadcasts.
Strong Monsoon Signal / Standby Signal No. 1 in Force:
Coaches and participants must conduct a rigorous safety assessment based on real-time local conditions, sea state, and center support systems (such as rescue boats and communication equipment). Activities are restricted to near-shore areas only, provided that absolute safety is guaranteed. For details, please refer to the Union’s Canoeing Safety Guidelines and relevant safety protocols.
Strong Wind Signal No. 3 (or Higher) in Force:
All water activities must cease immediately. Anyone currently on the water must return to shore as quickly and safely as possible, and properly secure all canoes and equipment in a safe location.
If any training courses are interrupted or cancelled due to the impact of the tropical cyclone, We will issue separate notices regarding postponement and make-up class arrangements. Students are requested to pay close attention to subsequent announcements.
Safety comes first. All club leaders and coaches are requested to strictly enforce the above arrangements and communicate them promptly to their members and students.
